THE BEGINNING

Scott Barnes has been helping shape and redefine the makeup industry for over 3 decades. His career began in New York City, where he attended the Parson’s School of Design to pursue his dream of becoming a fine arts painter. He began assisting on fashion photoshoots and quickly became a sought- after artist in his own right.

In addition to his celebrity and editorial work, Scott is a committed makeup educator and product creator, having launched a successful line of cult products like his Pro Brush Collection and renowned face and eye palettes. He has hosted comprehensive on- stage master classes and regularly shares his expertise with artists and highly engaged fans around the world through social media. He has authored two acclaimed books, About Face and Face to Face.
