With over 15 years of experience, Axel Vasquez has become a leading beauty expert in the DC metro area and Latin America. In 2019, he competed on American Beauty Star Season 2, hosted by Ashley Graham. His signature style blends glamorous and editorial beauty, enhancing women of all ages and skin tones.

Axel has worked with international celebrities like Karol G, Candice Dillard, Nella Rojas, and Fionnghuala O’Reilly. He serves as Creative Director for New York Fashion Week and Miami Swim Week, leading beauty teams for top designers like Oh POLLY. His work has also been featured in historic events, including the 74th Presidential Inauguration.

Axel is frequently featured on Univision’s Primer Impacto and FOX 5’s Good Morning DC, showcasing his expertise in beauty and makeup. As the CEO and creative director of AXEL MAKEUP ACADEMY and AXEL BEAUTY, he trains thousands of students yearly across the U.S., Puerto Rico, and Guatemala.
